Solar Farm, Brockville Ontario 2014
I was recently involved in a project to improve the electrical safety of high power inverters used on solar farms that generate electricity for grid tie applications. I had to do an inspection after dark, when the array was offline and while waiting for lockout, grabbed this as part of a series.

Congratulations! Your photo has been deemed cool by the people of The Icebox! You are now invited to Stick it to The Fridge, the final resting place for The Icebox’s best photos.
Wow… I love this! You sure picked a spectacular night to do an inspection! Very nice photo, well done!
what [http://www.flickr.com/photos/gdiazdeleon] said: that sounds rather exciting!
cool (and faved)
[https://www.flickr.com/photos/captin_nod] I looked at that but realized the reflection of the clouds on the panels made a better shot.
Far too overprocessed but I won’t let that bother me. cool
Cooled and faved. cool4

This is actually at 5-5 right now. Dee’s "cool4" was actually only the third cool.
Nicely done. Cool6

Great geometry with dramatic sky!
All subjective, I get that. But put me down for ‘Cool’! 🙂
I like how your lines draw you to the lighted clouds, and your colors seem warm, yet kind of haunting to me.
cool

lovely capture at dusk!
Great interaction of colour between the top and the bottom of the frame but I’m not digging the POV. The other panels don’t add much to the shot and I would have loved to see this right from the side instead of raking along it at an angle. Close, but uncool
