Renewable Although I like the idea of renewable energy, sometimes wind turbines ruin a view. However, on the eastern end of the Columbia Gorge, they actually seem to belong! By docoverachiever on 2016-05-19 06:04:18
brilliant clarity!
I think windmills are intrinsically beautiful, especially in motion. Don’t really understand the objection. Then when you compare the impact on human society to coal-generated electricity, they get better looking all the time.

Like the wispy clouds behind the hills and windmills. They give the scene even more depth and a bit of movement.

Here in the UK, we too have a love-hate relationship with wind turbines. Better off-shore where they are less intrusive. Liverpool Bay has hundreds of them. Makes we wonder how the huge container ships find their way through.
Fine shot by the way!
