Dear all,
Our next Know Your Bay will take place Tuesday 25 August. Our speaker Dr Bruce Mann worked for the Oceanographic Research Institute (ORI) in Durban for 30+ years, on linefish and monitoring the effectiveness of MPAs as tool for managing fish stocks. He will tell us what are Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), why we need them, how they are designed and proclaimed, and what are their benefits.
The event will take place at Bayworld from 5:30 pm for 6:00. It is free and open to all. Snacks and beverages will be available. https://www.facebook.com/events/3682222598591497/
