A View to the Battlefield

This of one of many battlefields, where the fight about the energy future will be decided. "The stone age didn’t end we ran out of stones" said the former saudi-arabian energy minister Sheik Yamani. The petroleum age won’t end because we run out of petroleum. It will end when there are better alternatives: Cheaper, cleaner, available everywhere and for everyone, endless. Here is a possible one. Of course there is still a long way to go, but the growth of renewable is very fast. There will no silver bullet to solve our energy demand. It will be a pattern of many different technologies.
But it is not only a question of economy and technology, in the end it is always a question of thinking and believing. That’s why I posted the quote from Dostoevsky – although it is a little bit too black and white. We are not discussing god and devil, we are discussing better and worse solutions.
What you see: Transformer station, wind power units (2.3 Megwatt each – small ones for Offshore), construction vessel. And a lot of black and white tones : )
