The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality’s Electricity and Energy Directorate advises residents that the Walmer No. 1 22kV circuit breaker at the Kraggakamma Substation has tripped.

During investigations at the Walmer Substation, technical teams discovered that the Transformer 1 6.6kV cable had been vandalised, resulting in the power outage. Repair work will commence this morning.
