The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality’s Electricity and Energy Directorate would like to provide residents and affected businesses with an update regarding the power outage impacting parts of the industrial area.
Municipal technical teams are currently conducting investigations on the 22kV cable between the KwaFord and Uitenhage Road No. 1 substations to determine the cause of the outage. The cable has been isolated and handed over for fault investigations. Should a fault be confirmed, the necessary repairs will be undertaken.
