NMBM wishes to inform residents that further patrols were conducted today along the Ditchling Summit 66kV line revealed that the Blue Phase conductor had fallen to the ground at pole DSU 1#132.
Technical teams are currently preparing to commence with repair work. The restoration process remains highly challenging due to the extreme weather conditions and the complexity involved in safely re-pulling damaged conductors.
At this stage, there is no estimated time for the restoration of electricity supply.
