With reference to the COURT CHALLENGE today against the increased electricity tariffs – I have one thing to say:
If the complainants had read my 16 April 2026 article on this very same subject they could have brought the action BEFORE the implementation date.
See the points at the top of the article for a neat summary of how we are all being bent over and ‘explored roughly’.
Frankly – the cabal of corruption has the complainants in a half nelson as the Municipality will probably ask a simple question; “Why didn’t you bring this action as soon as you could after publication of the proposed tariffs in April 2026?”
The time for mass action was THEN and not now when we have to spend money on lawyers.
The signs of a squeeze on consumers were all there long before April.

And THAT is the danger of having shifting tariffs on a commodity that should really be uniform in unit price across the nation.
