Hello everyone,
The next WESSA Algoa Bay Branch beach clean-up will be at the Patti beach at Cape Recife on Saturday 26 April 2025 from 09:30 to 10:30.
To get there, coming from Summerstrand, you turn left off Marine Drive towards Pine Lodge. Drive past Pine Lodge and stop at the boom which is the entrance to the Cape Recife Nature Reserve. Tell the security person there that you are participating in the WESSA beach clean-up and he or she will let you through. Drive past the SANCCOB building and look out for the sign saying Patti’s. At the Y junction take the split to the right and follow the road until the parking lot. Look out for the WESSA feather banners.
Please bring hats, sunscreen, water and your own gloves. We will provide litter bags.
