The AIDAprima is the flagship of AIDA Cruises, built by Mitsubishi Shipbuilding at their shipyard in Nagasaki, Japan. The cruise ship entered service on April 25, 2016, following multiple construction delays. She is the first AIDA vessel constructed outside Meyer Werft since AIDAaura was completed in 2003.
Currently, AIDAprima is on a 42-day, one-way voyage from Dubai to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The journey began on March 1, 2025, with a scheduled stop in Gqeberha today, March 25, 2025, and will conclude on April 12, 2025.
The ship measures 300 meters in length and 37 meters in width. It accommodates between 3,286 and 3,400 passengers, supported by a crew of 900. AIDAprima features 18 decks and 1,643 cabins.
