Voulez vous a unique live experience to celebrate Valentine’s Day, whether with a partner, friends, family or your book club. The show features an exciting line-up of local performers delivering hits from the charts, the classics, stage and screen with some surprise medleys and comedy numbers.
This year, Director Leandi Fontini, has brought together a cast that represent the amazing emerging and established talent from all over the Bay. “After performing in three Valentine’s cabarets, this is my first time stepping into the Director’s chair, and I wanted to create something joyful and welcoming,” says Fontini. “It’s about settling in with some great snacks, an ice-cold drink, fantastic music, shared laughs, and that special feeling of being in a theatre with people you love — whether that’s a partner, friends, family, or your favourite plus-one.”
Fontini is joined by Vocal Director Thuba Myeki and co-Choreographers, Kehly Booysen and Abi Ranwell – a dynamic creative team representing the new generation of theatre professionals in the Bay. Fontini previously directed the hugely successful Grease in 2024 and Myeki is well known to local audiences for his powerhouse performances with Centrestage that cross all musical genres and generations. Our choreographers are not just seasoned performers – both teach at their own dance studios – Dancemouse and Synergy.
Voulez-Vous? Is a musical feast and has everything from Marvin Gaye to The Weekend, Lemar to Lady Gaga with something for everyone in the mix. The popular guest artist spot is happening again and Fontini has recruited the likes of Melissa Leander, Matthew Osborne and Annaline Stiglingh to join for one show only.
