Join the NMU Faculty of Humanities Department of Music and Performing Arts on Wednesday 13 May for an uplifting lunchtime concert celebrating vocal excellence, resilience, and the power of music!
Featuring outstanding 1st and 2nd year singers trained by Monique Hellenberg, Caleb Zola, Hannah Barth, Tarryn Light and Rory McLaren, plus special performances by:
- The Quintessentials (A Cappella) singing “Get Away Jordan” (Take 6) & “The Garden” (Bobby McFerrin).
- The Ingoma Choir, conducted & choreographed by Khanyisile Skade, performing a traditional isiZulu song and Gloria
Bosman’s “Play Me Those Love Songs”.
This concert is extra special as it marks Monique Hellenberg’s final NMU lunch-hour concert, with a farewell performance of one of her newest original songs.
