The U20 Rugby Championships will return to Nelson Mandela Bay for the next three years – as confirmed by SARU on Monday 12 May 2025.
According to SARU they will be looking at expanding the competition and are looking to host more U20 National Teams.
The delegates were most impressed with the numbers of spectators that EP continue to dish up for these events.
The third and final day of the U20 Rugby Championships at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha saw New Zealand retain their 2024 Championship title after narrowly beating South Africa 48-45. Earlier in the day Argentina put up a good fight only to lose by four points (40-36) to Australia.
