POWER OUTAGE – STRUANDALE SUBSTATION: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality informs residents that a 6kV line at the Struandale Substation (Ysterhoud Mini) has tripped, affecting power supply up to Vista University.
The following areas are currently impacted: Ysterhoud Mini, Struandale, Missionvale.

POWER OUTAGE – MOTHERWELL CONTAINER: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality informs residents that a 22kV breaker has tripped at the Motherwell Container, resulting in a power outage.
Affected areas include: NU 12, NU 29, NU 30 and Sections of NU 11

POWER OUTAGE – Kariega: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents and businesses that a power outage is currently affecting the following areas: Algoa Road, San Souci, Winterhoekpark, Despatch, KwaNobuhle, Rosedale, Gamble, Mountain View, Mosel, Vanes Estate, Uitenhage Town and surrounding areas
The interruption is due to the tripping of an 132kV circuit breaker.
Our technical team has been dispatched to assess the situation and carry out the necessary repairs. Power will be restored as soon as it is safe and practical to do so.
