POWER OUTAGE – SOUTH AFRICAN RAILWAYS/CUYLER MANOR AND SURROUNDING AREAS: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that a 66kV circuit breaker has tripped at the Tollgate/SAR substation, resulting in a power outage affecting the following areas: South African Railways, Cuyler Manor yard, Railways and surrounding areas.
Our technical team has been dispatched to assess the situation and carry out the necessary repairs. Power supply will be restored as soon as it is safe and technically feasible to do so.

EMERGENCY ELECTRICITY SHUTDOWN – COEGA VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING AREAS: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality hereby informs residents that the Aloes/ Coega Village and Transnet/ Wells Estate Stage 1&3 11kV electrical line has been temporarily de-energised to facilitate urgent maintenance work. As a result, a power outage is currently affecting the following areas: Coega Village, Bluewater Bay and surrounding areas.
This shutdown is necessary to ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical infrastructure. Restoration efforts are underway, and power will be reinstated as soon as it is safe to do so.
