EMERGENCY ELECTRICITY SHUTDOWN – MOTHERWELL AND SURROUNDING AREAS: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality hereby informs residents that the K2 11kV Substation has been temporarily de-energised to facilitate urgent maintenance work. As a result, a power outage is currently affecting, NU4 and surrounding areas.
This shutdown is necessary to ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical infrastructure. Restoration efforts are underway, and power will be reinstated as soon as it is safe to do so.
