POWER OUTAGE- WALMER LOCATION: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that Victoria Drive Substation has been vandalised, leading to a loss of power supply in Walmer Location and surrounding areas.
Our technical team is on-site and attending the matter. Power supply will be restored as soon as the work is completed and it is safe to do so.
Residents are encouraged to report any attempts of vandalism of electrical infrastructure to 10111/041 506 5500.
POWER OUTAGE – ALGOA PARK AND SURROUNDING AREAS: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that a 6kV circuit breaker has tripped at the Northdowns/SAPS Flats substation, resulting in a power outage affecting, Algoa Park and surrounding areas.
Our technical team has been dispatched to assess the situation and carry out the necessary repairs. Power supply will be restored as soon as it is safe and technically feasible to do so.
POWER OUTAGE UPDATE – ALGOA PARK: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to provide an update regarding the ongoing electricity outage affecting Algoa Park.
A cable fault has been identified; however, repair work is still underway at five substations. As a result, the power supply remains disrupted in Algoa Park and surrounding areas.
