Our technical team has been dispatched to assess the situation and carry out the necessary repairs. Power supply will be restored as soon as it is safe and technically feasible to do so.
POWER OUTAGE – VAN STADENS WIND FARM: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that a 22kV circuit breaker has tripped at the Fitches Corner substation, resulting in a power outage affecting, Van Stadens Wind Farm and surrounding areas.

POWER OUTAGE – VAN STADENS AND SURROUNDING AREAS: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that a 66kV circuit breaker has tripped at the Fitches Corner/Ditchling substation, resulting in a power outage affecting the following areas: Fitches Corner, Van Stadens, Thornill Farmers, Summit and Gamtoos, Loerie Pumps, Vaalkrans and surrounding areas.

POWER OUTAGE – WELLS ESTATE AND SURROUNDING AREAS: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that a 11kV circuit breaker has tripped at the Aloes/Wells Estate no 1 substation, resulting in a power outage affecting, Wells Estate, Bluwater Bay and surrounding areas.
Our technical team has been dispatched to assess the situation and carry out the necessary repairs. Power supply will be restored as soon as it is safe and technically feasible to do so.
EMERGENCY ELECTRICITY SHUTDOWN – WELLS ESTATE: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality hereby informs residents that the Wells Estate 11kV electrical line has been temporarily de-energised to facilitate urgent maintenance work. As a result, a power outage is currently affecting Wells Estate.
This shutdown is necessary to ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical infrastructure. Restoration efforts are underway, and power will be reinstated as soon as it is safe to do so.
