POWER OUTAGE – MALABAR: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that due to vandalism at the Avalon Substation, a transformer has been damaged, resulting in a power outage affecting Malabar and surrounding areas.
Our technical team has been dispatched to assess the extent of the damage and to carry out the necessary repairs. Power supply will be restored as soon as it is safe and technically feasible to do so.

POWER OUTAGE – KUYGA: The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that a section of the Kuyga 22kV line, from KKG 53 to the end of the line, has been disconnected due to a blown transformer on pole KKG 53/8/10. This has resulted in a power outage affecting Kuyga and surrounding areas.
Our technical team has been dispatched to assess the damage and carry out the necessary repairs. Power supply will be restored as soon as it is safe and technically feasible to do so.
