The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that while the team was busy with fault-finding following the power outage, they discovered a sever damage to the busbar caused by an explosion. Supply has been restored to certain parts of Motherwell, however, the following customers fed from 22kV will remain off due until a new board has relocated from the old board:
- Ward 54
- Ward 55
- Ward 56
- Ward 57
- Police Station and surrounding areas.
The team will continue working around the clock to restore power supply as soon as possible.
