Lithium ion battery cathode electrode (5,000 X magnification)
A lithium ion battery cathode electrode was produced by Oak Ridge National Lab and evaluated in the Post Test Facility at Argonne National Laboratory by Nancy Dietz-Rago. This high magnification (5,000 X) image was used to examine the interaction between the cathode particles, carbon additives and binder.
