For a while now I have been catching MP Liam Jacobs as he grills various government and public funded institutions on their spending habits.
Now Jacobs is part of the GNU and it hit me today; “Just who, when the ANC alone was in charge, protected taxpayers money by grilling these representatives vigorously?”

Teboho Mokoena’s received a yellow card when Bafana Bafana played in their 2026 World Cup Qualifier against Lesotho. The Masandawana midfielder had two yellow cards already, making him ineligible to play the qualifier that Bafana won.
Mokoena should NOT have played.
South Africa face a potential punishment where three points could be deducted from their World Cup qualifying campaign.

South Africa will engage in the remaining qualifiers in September and October. The 1996 African champions will tackle Lesotho on September 1 before a game against Nigeria a week later.
Zimbabwe and Rwanda qualifiers will be played on October 6 and October 13, respectively.
