The FEM ED Company is an independent NPO funded by Umoya Communications, the owner of Algoa FM.
The FEM ED Company invites non-profit organisations involved in education in the Algoa FM broadcast area to apply for funding. Algoa FM’s broadcast footprint stretches from the Wild Coast to the Garden Route and inland through the Karoo hinterland.
The invitation is open to registered NPOs involved in empowering through education historically disadvantaged females, female youth, and disabled females, with the focus on black females.
The request for funding must align to the evaluation criteria accompanying and detail how the funds will be utilised having cognisance that bulk of the funding should be invested in the beneficiaries.
The deadline for applications is Friday, 2 May.
