It’s the season for Awards and Impact Community Theatre is thrilled to present their prestigious Making an Impact Concert and Awards evening, celebrating excellence in Impact shows in 2025-26 and part of an International celebration of World Theatre Day.
Over the last 12 months, Impact has brought you 7 diverse productions that have showcased some of our outstanding talent as well as offering many opportunities for development and mentoring of all ages.
The Impact shows considered for the 2026 Making an Impact Awards include: 2025 Splash Festival; A Night at the Opera; our vocal showcase, Blast from the Past; Carols; Music! Movies! Magic! from the young performers in January; the annual Valentine’s Cabaret – Voulez Vous and, Annie, the smash hit musical of 2025.
The cast of this year’s concert features the best of the best including the incredible Annies and orphans, nominees Onwaba Mahola and Ronald Chanetsa, Impact Youth Theatre Club, and audience favourites from our 2025-26 shows. Friends from the local dance community, Dance Dynamics and the Keep Dancing Experience will share their high energy style along with special guest, and GQ favourite, Francois Malan.
The climax of the evening will be the announcement of winners of the Limbrick Award for Overall Achievement and the G&S Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Society plus the highly anticipated announcement of our 2026 major production.
The Making an Impact Concert and Awards is open to the public and takes place on Friday 27th March 2026, 19:00 at the Savoy Theatre. Tickets are just R120 and available on Webtickets, at all Pick n Pay stores or at the door. Seating is unreserved in row style.
