Plus, jazz up your car with quirky modifications like dustbin lid wheels and Cartoon Network-themed bumpers—talk about recycling with style!
Monika Oomen, VP of Brand, Communications, and Digital Content Strategy for Kids EMEA at Warner Bros. Discovery, says, ” In our efforts to engage kids into climate action, the partnership with Envision is a vital addition to our Cartoon Networks Climate Champions campaign on Roblox, within Cartoon Network Game ON! Through gamification, we provide a fun and relevant activity that reaches children where they love spending time.”
Why it matters:
The world is on track to produce 75 million tonnes of e-waste by 2030! That’s a huge problem, but Climate E-Racers is here to help kids understand the importance of recycling and reusing electronics.
To make this mission even bigger, Cartoon Network Africa has teamed up with the E-Waste Recycling Authority (ERA), a leader in e-waste management in South Africa. ERA helps guide the proper disposal of e-waste and provides a handy list of recycling drop-off points around the country, making it easy for everyone to pitch in and protect the planet.
For more information on how to become a Cartoon Network Climate Champion, you can visit the Climate Champions website or download the ‘CN Climate Champions’ app to discover facts and trivia about e-waste, new quizzes, new voting cards, and new e-waste challenges that can ‘Make a World of Difference.’
So, buckle up and head to Cartoon Network Game ON! on Roblox to test your skills with Climate E-Racers. It’s time to race for the planet!

Why is the environment important to human kind? The environment is important to human kind because it provides us with the basic necessities of life such as air, water, food and shelter. It also has a direct impact on our physical and mental well-being, as it provides places for recreation and relaxation, and can help to reduce stress. Furthermore, the environment contributes to the overall quality of life, as it helps to regulate the climate, and can affect the health of our economy and communities. Finally, the environment is essential for sustaining the biodiversity of our planet, which is essential for the survival of many species, including humans.
Three examples of how the environment affects human activities?
- Climate Change: Human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and overfishing are all contributing to global climate change. Climate change has been linked to a range of impacts, from more extreme weather patterns to sea level rise and disruption of food production.
- Air Pollution: Human activities such as burning fossil fuels for energy production, transportation, and industrial processes are a major source of air pollution. This air pollution can cause respiratory problems, acid rain, and crop damage.
- Water Pollution: Human activities such as dumping waste into bodies of water, agricultural runoff, and oil spills can lead to water pollution. This pollution can cause algal blooms, contamination of drinking water, and destruction of aquatic ecosystems.
