Gumball’s Van Tour hits Gqeberha from 15 – 19 October to celebrate the launch of Cartoon Network’s brand-new series, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball.

Gumball and Darwin are on their way to the Friendly City for the fourth leg of their South African Van Tour with a week of fun, laughter, and wonderfully weird mischief! To celebrate the arrival of Cartoon Network’s brand-new series, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, Elmore’s quirkiest duo is loading up their van with games, prizes, and chaos and their wheels are about to kiss your city streets!
Gqeberha Tour Highlights
Here’s where you can catch Gumball and Darwin around the city:
- Wednesday, 15 October @ 10am – Save-a-Pet Animal Shelter: Gumball and Darwin kick things off by spreading kindness at the Save-a-Pet Animal Shelter, where they’ll be visiting some furry friends and handing over donations of blankets, food, and toys to help support the shelter’s incredible work.
- Thursday, 16 October in the afternoon – Fairview Sports Centre: The duo will swap the road miles for court field time bringing their A-game. Participants can join in some wonderfully weird games and snag some cool prizes!
- Saturday & Sunday, 18–19 October – Walmer Park Shopping Centre: A full weekend takeover with some wonderfully weird meet & greets, games that make no sense whatsoever, and prizes so cool even Banana Joe would want in.
School Visits
Throughout the week, some lucky local schools will also get a taste of Gumball fun with surprise visits, high-energy shows, quizzes, and games.
Whether it’s selfies with Gumball at the Animal Shelter, bumping into him at one of your local schools, or winning prizes cooler than a Watterson family dinner, Gumball fans are in for a week packed with wonderfully weird fun.
Welcome Back to Elmore, Where Weird Is Wonderful
The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball picks up where The Amazing World of Gumball left off but cranks the chaos to eleven. Back in Elmore, the laws of reality are a joke and family life is anything but ordinary.
