Residents are advised to be cautious of scammers pretending to be Disconnection Officers from the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality. Legitimate NMBM Disconnection Officers will:
- Wear NMBM-branded uniforms.
- Carry official employee ID cards with their information.
Please note the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality will never notify residents about service disconnections via WhatsApp or social media.
