Electricity Disconnection Blitz Report

IF you have one of these old Electricity Credit Meters (Property of Port Elizabeth Municipality - PEM) please pause for a moment and wonder at the robust longevity of these meters that are over 35 years old and still going.

Whenever the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality embarks on an electricity disconnection ‘blitz’ it is published on the NMB WhatsApp media group.

Below is a collation of those announcements with dates and areas.

Each colour represents a disconnection blitz date on a stackable bar charting the date for each suburb depicted.

BTW – if your mounting municipal electricity account is as a result of an ‘errant tenant’ then it is time to install a PRIVATE PREPAID METER – try Straton Electrical.
