Global energy management leader continues to expand its focus on women-empowerment and transformation.
Eaton, a global power management company with manufacturing and distribution sites in South Africa, has appointed Novani-Ganess-Johnson to lead sales across Southern Africa.
In this role, Novani will be responsible for managing all Southern Africa sales activities across Eaton’s South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi markets, which includes refining the sales strategy to optimise market share growth and business development.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team at Eaton to further drive innovative power solutions that matters for our clients and country,” Johnson says. “I’m also excited to be part of a progressive company and put my knowledge of the evolving energy landscape to work in helping drive the company’s growth in 2020 and beyond.”
Novani has a BSc in Chemical Engineering and brings a wealth of experience gained from the energy sector. Some of her previous responsibilities include customer relationship management, identifying new market opportunities, and developing business strategic growth plans. She joins Eaton from General Electric, where she held various roles including Executive Services Director for Sub-Saharan Africa.
“Novani has the experience to help strengthen and expand our business and presence in the region. But even more importantly, she embodies our values and demonstrates the vision, leadership and energy to continue our momentum for years to come,” says Seydou Kane, managing director of Eaton for Africa.
