Anonymous on how to improve NMB:
- The city cannot function on any level when the money is being mishandled, either by intentional corruption or incompetence. This issue has to be addressed aggressively before any meaningful change can happen in PE.
- All leaders in charge of portfolios need to be COMPETENT and qualified and able to perform their jobs. Political appointments for these positions CANNOT be done with political motivations, they have to be done on merit.
- Staff also need to be held accountable for their action and performance, with regular performance reviews being done on all staff members at every level including the reviewers. The municipality cannot function efficiently if the staff operate like they are in protected employment. The actual issues with performance will automatically start improving when the staff tasked with running the city are actually doing their jobs efficiently.
